A "Labor of Love".

This is Rick's Pond Page. The area where the pond is located used to be home to a 24' above ground pool. We had two small, interconnected ponds, with a waterfall (500 gallons total) on the other side of the deck. Several of the fish in the ponds became too large to keep there, so we decided to build a bigger pond when we took the pool out. The new pond is about 4,500 gallons in volume. Approximately 13 tons of stone was used in the construction. There are two waterfalls, each is fed by a 4,000 GPH pump. There is also an aeration pump in the center of the pond. We have created a small ecosystem that is home to a number of interesting inhabitants.
